This page explains what happens to your data when you use this website. The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is HighTaste Lab. You can reach us at any time via our contact form or at info@hightastelab.com.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, your browser transmits technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request and the page requested. This is processed to deliver the site and keep it secure, based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers to the United States are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses agreed with the provider.

Sign-up form

If you enter your email address, we store it together with the optional first name and Instagram handle you provide, plus the time of submission. We use this data solely to tell you about the launch of our devices and about news from HighTaste Lab. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

After you sign up we send you a confirmation email. Your address is only added to our list once you have confirmed it. If you do not confirm within 30 days, the entry is deleted.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — simply reply to any message you receive from us, or use the contact form. We will then delete your data without undue delay.

Contact form

What you write to us, together with your name and email address, is stored so that we can answer you. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. We delete these messages once they are no longer needed.

Email delivery

Confirmation emails are sent through a transactional email provider on our behalf. Only the individual recipient address is passed on for that purpose; no mailing list is stored there.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising technology and nothing is stored on your device.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
